I spent many years managing information technology
for a number of Atlanta’s fastest growing companies. To say that those
companies turned on a dime is an understatement. Often, new projects
were identified in the morning, and we purchased the equipment in the
afternoon. This caused many impromptu trips to local computer
suppliers.
On these many trips, I was frustrated by the fact
that much of what was available locally was consumer-oriented. Further,
the sales and support personnel were poorly trained, and did not
understand the needs of business. As an example, we would often wait in
line 20 minutes at the CompUSA corporate desk, only to find out that
they did not have what we needed. Out of this frustration was born the
BIZTech concept.
The BIZTech concept focuses on providing products
and services designed around the needs of small and medium businesses.
Our objectives and values include:
- To make available a product
set selected specifically based on the needs of business.
- To provide outstanding
support in the products offered.
- To display major products
in a format that allows customers to see them in action.
- To offer free advice to
customers just needing guidance.
- To locate our stores in or
near major business parks, so as to minimize drive time.
- To sell products at
competitive prices.
- To glorify God in all that
we do, and to serve our community.
What does that mean for you as the head of a small
business or organization? Quick access to competitively priced
products, selected specifically for your needs, and supported by a staff
that understands your needs and the products they sell. All of that
translates into cost savings.
I hope you will visit our store soon, and let us
demonstrate that we live up to our values and objectives.
